Vehicles

I am a home mechanic, a die-hard do-it-yourselfer. While I strive for accuracy and attention to detail, I cannot guarantee absolute perfection for every step and procedure here. If in doubt consult an auto repair manual or the services of a professional mechanic.
I was able to safely complete each of these repairs and procedures. I sincerely hope some of this helps you toward success in your project. But things can and often do go wrong when working on vehicles. Please don’t blame the hard-working guy who posted these repair guides. Remember to always put safety first. Take your time and good luck.

    1. My knowledge of issues arising from tire sizes is limited. I would suggest asking someone at a reputable tire shop.

  4. Good Morning David,

My name is Megan Richardson. I could not find another way to contact you via email on your site, but I have a question. I do text or banner advertising on automotive-related sites and like yours. I think this site may be a good fit for an auto parts ad I'm trying to place. Payment would be made to you quickly by PayPal or by business check. Please email me back if you think you may be interested in working with me and I will send you the details of my offer.

    Thank you very much!

  7. Hi David , I also have a Black & Decker drill sharpener same as one in you're video. I can't find replacement stones anywhere. I tried Norton & other mfr's & no have these stones. I have the B&D part # for the stone. Where do you get new stones for your machine ? Please advise. If can't get new stones the machine is useless. Thanks. Please respond to simstom92@yahoo.com

    1. I wish I would've seen this sooner but anyway. I assume you checked with B&D with these numbers but if they don't make them anymore maybe you can try Sioux valve grinding machines? I didn't see the video you were referring to but if B&D or Norton's can't help maybe try a couple other abrasives company like 3-M. When a manufacturer decides to stop making parts for older machines it becomes a bitch trying to get parts for it.
